Why I built BirdieBaller
The lesson shouldn't end when the student leaves the tee.
I've been teaching since 2003. Somewhere past fifteen thousand lessons, I noticed the same thing kept happening.
A student leaves feeling great. A week later the feel is gone. The video is somewhere on their phone, my notes are in another app, and the numbers stayed on the radar screen. What they needed was the one or two swing thoughts that matter, and proof that they're working.
So my brother Ben and I built BirdieBaller. It's the app I wanted on my own lesson tee: record the swing, see what the body is really doing, write the note while it's fresh, and keep it all in one place the student can come back to between lessons.
It works the way coaches already teach. Nothing goes to a student until I've checked it, and every report carries my name.

How a lesson works
From the lesson tee to their phone in minutes.
Record
Film swings in the lesson at 240 fps, face-on and down-the-line. The student and lesson are already set up.
Measure
Each swing is turned into 3D body movement: hip and shoulder turn, sequence, sway and tempo.
CoachNew
Draw on stills, add notes, and record your screen with your voice to talk them through the swing.
Send
A branded report and your voice-overs land on the student's phone. You review and edit everything first.
